How to Connect your Xero Company to the GATHER Platform

A clean, step-by-step path to connect your Xero company and pull data into the GATHER Platform (by GATHER.nexus) for multi-entity workflows.


1) Navigate to Company Setup

  • From your GATHER Platform dashboard, go to Multi-Entity & Display → Company.

2) Start the connection

  • Click Add Company.

  • Choose Connect to Xero (QuickBooks is also available).

3) Authorise in Xero

  • You’ll be redirected to Xero’s secure sign-in.

  • Log in, select the organisation to connect, and click Allow access.

  • Security note: The GATHER Platform uses secure OAuth; your Xero credentials are never stored.

4) Sync your data

  • You’ll return to the GATHER Platform; the company shows Active and the first sync begins.

  • By default, the platform pulls 3 years of history.

  • To extend to 5 years, use the Sync/Refresh control on that company’s row.
