Overview

Group Class values in GATHER.nexus let you control what data each user can access. By assigning classifications such as region, function, or department, you ensure users only see data relevant to their role. This strengthens security, supports compliance, and keeps teams focused.

Assignment Workflow

Step 1: Access Users & Roles

  • From your dashboard, go to Users & Roles.

  • Click Users to open the user management panel.

Step 2: Review User List

  • Each row displays:

    • Name & Email

    • Current Role (e.g., Admin, Viewer)

    • Current Group and Group Class access

  • Look for indicators like “1 Groups” or “ALL” beside users.

Step 3: Select a User

  • Click the Group Class link next to the desired user to open the assignment panel.

Step 4: Configure Assignments

  • In the modal, you’ll see:

    • The Group the user belongs to (e.g., Demo Group)
